Newsies || Something To Believe In

Coming off of being tipsy and having some major Newsies feels.

Someone put me back in this theatre so I can watch “King of New York” and weep at the amazing choreography all over again.

(let it be known that this is the first clip I have let myself watch of this show since seeing it live (or EVER) because I didn’t want to distort my memory but I am having feels so I let myself watch just this clip…)

I don’t know why this video made me so goddamn happy, but I’m sitting in the cafe, smiling like an idiot, wishing I were back in New York seeing this show again.

Take me back.
Put me back in this theatre.
Let me watch this show until I no longer can.
Get me back to NYC.

Take me back.

Put me back in this theatre.

Let me watch this show until I no longer can.

Get me back to NYC.

Newsies made me cry.

3 different times.

1 of those times was purely based on choreography alone.

Fuck.

Can I go see it again tomorrow?

And then again on Wednesday?

Pulling this .gif out on it’s own.
Because DAMN that’s a good kiss.
That’s all.

Let me go, far away, somewhere they won’t never find me

Why Yes, I am crying.  Wanna say something about it?

Exactly how you prepare as an understudy

hehehehehehehe….this made me giggle a lot.

Which means I won’t be seeing him on my trip in October.

I’m only a little sad.

But I hear amazing things about Corey Cott, so it’s a sadness short lived.t

Just bought my Newsies ticket!

October 15th, Mezzanine Row KK, seat 108

I AM EXCITE!

Well, I was sitting down just now to purchase my Newsies ticket for my trip in October…

But Ticketmaster keep telling me that “Oops!  Something went wrong.” whenever I click the checkout button.

Looks like it will have to wait until tomorrow instead.

Interviewer: What has been the best thing about being a Tony Nominee?
Jeremy: Everything. Getting to meet all these crazy, talented people that I’ve looked up to. And the best thing is, like, when they introduce themselves to you. I’m like “hey,” and they’re like “hi, Jeremy!” Like “you know me?”

Overall, it was a great show.  A wonderful night for theatre.

Kelli O’Hara should have won for best actress.  Laura Osnes was the only acceptable other.  ALthough, Audra is wonderous, it was obvious from the start she would win.

Once deservedly swept all the awards.  I hear that show is wonderful and I’m excited to put it on my List of Shows I”m Seeing in October.

CRAIG!  His speech made my mom “D’aw!”

I wish Jeremy had won, but Steves speech nearly made me cry.

It was between Once and Newsies for Best Musical.  I’m glad Once won, but harbor bitterness because Newsies didn’t.

Nina’s speech was A-DOR-A-BLE!

Laura Osnes’ dress was ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS.  She should have won based on that dress alone.

I was disappointed with most of the presentations of musicals just because it seemed like none of the shows that performed picked songs that really represented their show.

Kelli O’Hara’s dress was shiny and beautiful and radiant, just like her.

Bonnie and Clyde should have won for best score…I’m just sayin…

All in all, this was a wonderful Tony Awards and a beautiful season.

I am going to be in NYC October 12th through the 16th.

I AM SO STOKED!

Aaaannndddd definitely gunna get a ticket to Newsies.  Guh-DUH!

CAN’T WAIT!
